Treemeditation

Everyone needs energy. Often, people steal it from one another without even realizing it. These days, more and more people are spending their time around and with machines. However, machines and interacting with them do not provide energy. This means far too few people have enough energy. To recharge, people need to be in nature or among other people, such as friends or family.

Many people are also alone in their free time, and more and more people are interacting with AI and becoming less connected to real people at work and at home. Therefore, spending time in nature and touching trees can be a new way to reconnect with yourself and reduce stress (terpenes from trees = tiny particles that benefit animals and humans when inhaled and have been proven to reduce stress).

Touching or hugging a tree can give you new energy, and you feel refreshed. The “chi” flowing between the tree and you becomes palpable. Trees are more than plants; they are living beings and, just like animals, have a soul. We now know that trees breathe and even make sounds, for example when they are thirsty because there has been too little rain. Trees can even become your friends, because they are very special beings. In days long past, it was taken for granted among many indigenous peoples that they were in touch with the animals, the water, the plants, and the trees around them and that they spoke with them. People at that time were and always felt themselves to be part of nature, living with and within it !

Even though today we are constantly surrounded by robots in all possible forms and are constantly engaged with them - whether at home or at work - we ourselves are still a part of nature today, even if we no longer live within it as our ancestors did. For human beings ARE nature itself. Our brains still contain the limbic system, a remnant of those days that remains within us. That is why even today, the color green - which predominates in nature - is perceived as calming and stress-relieving by our limbic system, and its relaxing effect continues to do us good whenever we are in nature. Smell, taste, and consciously feel nature again; embrace trees. Talk to plants, feel them and yourself. Feel at ease and learn to relax again and recharge with fresh, new energy !! Nature gladly gives it to you. Reconnect with nature, just as indigenous peoples once did. Go out into nature as often as and whenever and wherever you can. Recharge your energy and refresh yourself there with everything that is alive and living around you ! Just 10 minutes of birdsong reduces stress !

If you’d like to take your first steps back into nature and experience an encounter with a tree that will transform your life, please feel free to contact me/us. I’d be happy to show you how it’s done, so that you can do this on your own anytime in the future.

Warmest green regards,
yours Petra.
